Who Are We?
Licton Haller Greenways is a group of neighbors like you who are working to make our streets safer and more comfortable for everybody.
We live, work, shop, play, and travel in, to and through Seattle’s Licton Springs and Haller Lake neighborhoods. Since the spring of 2014, we have been engaged in community building, advocacy, and action-based projects to make streets safer for all people, particularly for children and elders and people who are walking and bicycling.
Our community group works on projects important to many neighborhoods in NW Seattle, and our current focus is on the Licton Springs and Haller Lake neighborhoods.

We host regular monthly meetings on the second Thursday of every month at 7PM at the Haller Lake Community Club. Visit our Google Group for the latest details and the meeting agenda.

Get involved with our top priority to create a safe route to school along N/NW 92nd St. to connect people across Aurora and I-5 to Wilson Pacific School, North Seattle College, Olympic View Elementary School, and the Fremont Greenway or learn more.
Our Victories
- Learn more about what a neighborhood greenway is from our brochure.
- We are having success gathers supporters to a coalition to support safe routes to the Wilson-Pacific Schools.
- We received Safe Routes to School grant to engage the community in a planning process to determine the most important routes and trouble spots for the new Wilson-Pacific School.
- The Seattle Department of Planning and Development is requiring Seattle Public Schools to make sure they connect NW 92nd St through their property via a trail.
- Licton-Haller Greenways, with Lake City Greenways and Seattle Neighborhood Greenways,was awarded technical assistance from the National Park Service to help us with neighborhood greenway planning and to reach and engage our communities.
