In 2026 Seattle will welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors for the World Cup soccer tournament.
What if Seattle signed key comfortable bike routes to help people get around town and to the game?

A bold, low-cost, high-visibility concept—we're piloting in Summer 2025, with an eye to expand to a citywide network in 2026.

3. What comes next?
With hundreds of thousands of visitors coming to Seattle in 2026, we hope the city will step in to adopt this Bike Lines concept and sign a network of routes around the city. If the network is well received, perhaps it can become permanent wayfinding to help folks bike and scoot around town.
